For any other first timers, don't use a hair dryer to take blue masking tape off the bridge area after finishing. I just blistered my lacquer. ![]() |

hmm. You need a chemical amalgamation agent. Just can't remember it's name. It's nasty stuff that softens the lacquer, maybe enough to rebond. Dave Bland, maybe Tim McNight, and a few others have used it. |

Behlen's makes a product called QualaRestore that is basically the same stuff. Woodcraft and others carry it. |
